Reunion?

Hey Christina, Leesh, and Deana, did you guys go to a 10 yr reunion last year?

I talked to Audrey on the phone yesterday and she said she got an email about our 10 year. I'll probably go if it's this summer, cause I'll want to come visit my mom at some point. And of course visit the Gerber Bub. As far as high school peeps go, I pretty much still talk to anyone who I care about... but it could be mildly entertaining. I can be like, "Hey it's 10 years later and I'm still in school! And, I usually don't wear sweat pants in public anymore. Otherwise I'm pretty much the same."

I heard about it through Classmates.com last year and didn't go. :p
When is everyone getting together this year?

P.S. Last year it was in September. I wasn't exactly feeling up to it at the time considering mini-me was born not even a month prior. *L*

Ed..... rawr! :) I guess October probably works for me. I should actually be graduated by then!!

BTW I just got back from Costa Rica yesterday. Our flight got delayed in Vegas for a day, which sounds like it could be cool but it was actually super lame. But I'll be posting some Costa Rica pics soon!!

Yeah, I didn't go last year. The cost was $160/couple (or $80/person) and it was held at -- dun dun dun! - Rustler's Roost. Uh. No. There was no way I was paying $160 + plane fair to hang out at Rustler's Roost. Other people I know were complaining that there wasn't even an open bar, but that didn't factor into my decision.

Hopefully your class comes up with something better.

Hey, if you're going to pay that much to hang out at Rustler's Roost with (most likely) a gaggle of ex cheerleaders and football jocks then there damn well better be an open bar.
I'd have to be good and trashed to make it through the evening.

Yeah, it's still 80 bucks this year, and Mr. Bub is refusing to go.

AT least it sounds like your main event had dinner... ours is apparently finger food, but at least it sounds like there will be booze. :D

Yeah, I don't know if our main event had dinner. Of course, I was pretty busy being freaked out by the fact that the reunion company had managed to find me -- with my married name. I mean, we aren't incognito or anything, but we have moved A LOT in the last 10 years. Oh well.

I must admit that I am interested to know why Matt won't go. Chris said he would have liked to have gone if it had been at the high school (he doesn't believe that it looks like a prison) but he had no real love to see a bunch of people I wasn't even friends with (I still keep in touch with the two people from my class that I was good friends with, every one else was above or below me -- kinky!) at Rustler's Roost.
